About this opportunity
The University of Auckland Kōkiri Raumati Scholarship supports New Zealand secondary school students to participate in summer bridge programs at the University of Auckland. The scholarship is awarded in two tiers: Tier 1 provides catered accommodation in a Hall of Residence for the duration of Summer School 2026 plus compulsory tuition fees for enrollment in Summer Start, Tōia ki Waipapa, or UniBound programs. Tier 2 covers compulsory tuition fees only for one of these three programs. The scholarship is designed to help school-leavers transition to university study through intensive summer programs. Recipients of Tier 1 scholarships also receive free membership to University Recreation facilities and benefit from academic mentoring, pastoral care, and a supportive residential community. The scholarship aims to provide educational opportunities for students beginning their undergraduate or Foundation level studies at the University of Auckland in 2026.
