About This Opportunity

The University of Auckland Pacific Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded to Indigenous Pacific students who demonstrate excellent academic achievement and active participation in community, cultural and other activities. The scholarships are designed to provide support to exceptional students during their studies towards an undergraduate degree at the University. Recipients receive one year of catered accommodation in a University of Auckland Hall of Residence in their first year, plus $5,000 paid in instalments across three years of study. The accommodation includes catering, individual rooms, activities and events, academic mentoring programmes and pastoral care, as well as free membership to University Recreation facilities on the City Campus. The scholarships are specifically targeted at New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents who are currently enrolled in their final year at a New Zealand secondary school or kura and intending to enrol full-time in a degree or Certificate in Health Sciences followed by a degree at the University of Auckland.
