About this opportunity

The University of Auckland Top Achiever Scholarships are awarded to exceptional students who have excellent academic achievement and demonstrated leadership potential. The scholarship provides comprehensive support for first-year undergraduate students transitioning from New Zealand secondary schools to university. Recipients receive one year of catered accommodation in a University of Auckland Hall of Residence plus $5,000 paid in two instalments during their first two semesters of study. The scholarship is designed to support outstanding students during their undergraduate degree at the University of Auckland, with accommodation benefits including catering, individual rooms, activities and events, academic mentoring programmes, pastoral care, and free membership to University Recreation facilities on the City Campus. To maintain the scholarship for the second semester, students must achieve a grade point average of at least 6.00 in their first semester courses and continue full-time enrolment.
