University of Regina Varsity Sport Award

The University of Regina Varsity Sport Award was established in 2021 to provide financial assistance to University of Regina student athletes. This award is designed to support graduate students who are active members of U SPORTS teams at the University of Regina. The award covers variable amounts up to a maximum of tuition, course and semester based fees, and is awarded on a term by term basis. Recipients must meet U SPORTS eligibility and funding requirements for entering, continuing, or post-secondary transfer students. No application is required as nominations are made by the Director of Sport, Community Engagement & Athlete Development in consultation with coaching staff.
