University of Sydney Business School Excellence in Leadership Scholarship

The University of Sydney Business School Excellence in Leadership Scholarship is a postgraduate coursework scholarship that provides tuition fee support to students studying the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). This scholarship was established in 2009 with the launch of the Global Executive Master of Business Administration degree and is intended to promote academic excellence within the Executive MBA program. The scholarship covers 50% of the degree's tuition fees, equivalent to three of the six mandatory units of study, and is tenable for the duration of the degree (1.5 years). Recipients are selected based on academic merit, leadership potential, personal integrity, performance in the selection interview, and motivation to succeed in business in a socially responsible way. To maintain the scholarship, recipients must achieve a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester and remain enrolled in 24 credit points of study each semester. The scholarship does not cover the Student Services and Amenities fee, travel costs, or relevant in-country fees for each residential unit of study.
