About this opportunity
UTAPS is the University of Toronto's largest need-based support program that provides non-repayable grants to students to cover the financial gap between their actual education costs and the costs recognized by their provincial/territorial government student financial aid program. The program helps eligible students by covering unmet financial need that remains after government student aid and/or Indigenous sponsorship funding is considered. UTAPS grants are available to eligible full-time students enrolled in approved undergraduate, doctoral-stream masters, and doctoral programs across U of T's three campuses. The grants are first applied to any outstanding balance on the student's account for the academic year, with remaining amounts deposited directly to the student's bank account.
