University of Toronto Scholars Program

The University of Toronto Scholars Program provides recognition to U of T's outstanding students upon admission. There are approximately 900 admission awards, each of which has a value of $10,000. This award is given in the student's first year of studies and is non-renewable. Outstanding domestic and international secondary school students are automatically considered for these awards on the basis of their average at the time of admission. Applicants who have previously attended a post-secondary institution are not eligible for U of T Scholars consideration. Recipients must be applying to the first year of direct-entry undergraduate studies. Payment of the award is conditional on full-time registration in September at the division/college/faculty making the offer. Students must be registered full time for both the fall and winter sessions.
