University of Waikato Doctoral Catalyst Scholarship

This new scholarship offers financial support to outstanding doctoral researchers who are currently enrolled in the mid to late stages of a higher research degree at the University of Waikato. Applicants must have demonstrated exceptional research success, commensurate with their degree stage, throughout research outputs, research leadership and collaboration, and contributions to the wider research community. The scholarship provides up to $30,000 per year for up to 30 months, plus domestic tuition fees and Student Services Fee. This scholarship is available for all subject areas including Arts, Social Sciences, Business & Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Education, Health, Engineering, Law, Māori & Indigenous Studies, Science, and Environment. The scholarship supports doctoral students who are demonstrating exceptional research excellence as they progress toward completion of their doctorate.
