University of Waikato International Entrance Scholarship for School Leavers

The University of Waikato International Entrance Scholarship for School Leavers provides financial support to international students completing Year 13 (or equivalent) at a New Zealand high school or learning institution who intend to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree at the University of Waikato. This scholarship is awarded by automatic nomination upon application to the university, with no separate application required. The scholarship provides up to NZD$15,000 towards tuition fees for students who have completed study at NCEA Level 2 and/or 3, or equivalent. This entrance scholarship is designed to recognize academic merit and support international school leavers transitioning into undergraduate study across all subject areas offered at the University of Waikato, including Arts, Business & Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Education, Health, Engineering, Law, Māori & Indigenous Studies, Science, and Social Sciences.
