University of Waterloo Alumni@Microsoft Engineering Scholarship

One scholarship, valued at up to $3,500, is awarded annually to an outstanding student entering first year of any program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. This entrance scholarship is made possible through donations from University of Waterloo alumni employed with Microsoft Corporation. Recipients are selected based on academic performance, the Admission Information Form (AIF), and an online video interview. The scholarship is open to both Canadian/permanent residents and international students entering any of the thirteen engineering programs offered at the Faculty of Engineering, including Architectural, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Geological, Management, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Nanotechnology, and Systems Design Engineering. No separate application is required beyond the standard admission process.
