University of Waterloo Entrance Bursaries

Entrance bursaries are awarded to assist students who have financial need. Approximately 1,000 entrance bursaries, valued at $1,000 to $5,000 each, are available for students entering first-year programs at the University of Waterloo, Renison University College, and St. Jerome's University. To be eligible for this bursary, candidates must have lived in Ontario for at least 12 months prior to beginning their post-secondary education and must be able to demonstrate a financial need during their first year of studies. The bursaries are open to any program and are available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Access to the application form is limited to Ontario students who will be studying on a full-time basis and who are applying to post-secondary studies for the first time.
