University of Waterloo President's Scholarship of Distinction

The University of Waterloo President's Scholarship of Distinction is an entrance scholarship awarded to high-achieving students admitted to the University of Waterloo. Students who are admitted with an early-May admission average of 95% or above receive a one-time $2,000 scholarship. Additionally, recipients have the opportunity after their first year to receive a $1,500 Research Award and a $1,500 International Experience Award. This scholarship is designed to recognize and support exceptional incoming undergraduate students who are beginning their post-secondary studies for the first time. The scholarship is open to students admitted to any full-time, first-year degree program at the University of Waterloo, with the exception of programs at Renison University College or St. Jerome's University, which offer their own scholarships. No application is required; students are automatically considered based on their admission average.
