About This Opportunity

Several scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding students entering Year One of any program at the University of Waterloo (excluding St. Jerome's University and Renison University College) from eligible secondary schools in the Region of Waterloo. These scholarships are funded in part by the Ford S. Kumpf Endowment Fund, the Gladys and Norman Raiter Memorial Endowment Fund, the Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Snider Memorial Endowment Fund, and the Waterloo County Entrance Scholarship Endowment Fund. The scholarships are valued at up to $5,000, payable over two years. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement and must be graduating from a Region of Waterloo secondary school. No application is required as students are automatically considered.
