University of Waterloo Senate Graduate Scholarship

The Senate Graduate Scholarship program provides funds to match scholarship designated contributions made by faculty, staff, and retirees to graduate programs at the University of Waterloo. The spirit of the award is to give deserving students who are in good academic standing (minimum B+ standing), registered full time within the time limits of their program, and who would not be in receipt of a major external scholarship (such as Ontario Graduate Scholarship or tri-council awards) an award to help them out. Students are automatically selected by their Faculty or Department, with no application required. The scholarship is available to both Canadian/Permanent residents and International students on study permits, across all graduate programs at the university for both Masters and Doctoral levels.
