About this opportunity
The UPEI Class of 1989 Award is granted annually to a UPEI student who is graduating from their first bachelor degree program. The successful recipient will have demonstrated a high level of school spirit and campus community involvement. To commemorate its 30th anniversary and UPEI's 50th anniversary, the UPEI Class of 1989 established this award at the university to support students that exemplify the amazing young people who graduated in 1989. It is the hope of the Class that sufficient funds will be raised to create an endowment so the award can be granted in perpetuity. Applicants will need to provide a letter of reference from a member of faculty or staff at UPEI confirming the applicant's involvement in the university community and contribution to school spirit.
