About this opportunity
Granted to a student in the second year of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Program at UPEI who has made an extra effort to maintain and promote balanced healthy living, and who, in the process, sets an example of community leadership. This Award was established in April 2011 by students in the UPEI Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Program. It is well recognized that healthy living can lead to better health. The founders of this Award understand that for a student to adopt, maintain and/or promote a healthy living strategy throughout his or her enrollment in the EMBA program represents a very important accomplishment worth acknowledging. The Award was created to honour and recognize a student in their second year of the UPEI EMBA Program who has made an extra effort to adopt, maintain and/or promote a healthy living strategy, and who in the process, has set an example of leadership in the community. Since the Award's origination, EMBA students and alumni have made a special effort to raise sufficient funds to create an endowed fund, which was achieved in the winter of 2013.
