About This Opportunity
The UPEI Reesor Music Scholarship is awarded to a full-time student entering the second, third, or fourth year of the Bachelor of Music program who achieved the highest grade above 80% in Applied Music in Organ during the previous year's study. The award is given upon the recommendation of the Organ Professor. The scholarship was established in 1997 upon the retirement of Dr. F. Alan Reesor from the faculty of the Department of Music at the University of Prince Edward Island. Through donations to this fund, colleagues, alumni, students, and friends expressed their appreciation of Dr. Reesor's many years of dedicated service to the University as Music Chair and Professor of Organ and Music History.
