About this opportunity

The UPEI School of Nursing Endowment Award is presented to a Nursing student standing second-highest in academic achievement in second year, who is enrolled in at least 24 semester-hour credits in Fall/Winter courses. This scholarship was established at the University of Prince Edward Island by the former Board of Directors of the Prince Edward Island School of Nursing in conjunction with the Prince County Hospital Board of Directors, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Board of Directors and the University of Prince Edward Island. The trust provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to former graduates of the Prince Edward Island School of Nursing or its predecessor schools who are enrolled in a baccalaureate program towards a degree in nursing and demonstrate financial need. Alternatively, if no qualifying applicants are available, the award supports faculty/instructors within the Faculty of Nursing at UPEI to further their educational qualifications.
