UQ Excellence Scholarship

The UQ Excellence Scholarship is part of the UQ Academic Scholarship Program, established in 2008 and maintained by funds from The University of Queensland and donors. This scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement in high school students who have achieved a minimum unadjusted ATAR of 99.00 or equivalent. The scholarship provides $6,000 in financial support to students enrolling in undergraduate programs at the University of Queensland. It is designed to reward students who demonstrate exceptional academic merit combined with strong leadership qualities and community service involvement during their Years 11 and 12 studies. The scholarship is available to both domestic and international students who have completed their secondary education in Australia, as well as Australian citizens and permanent humanitarian visa holders. Recipients must enroll as full-time undergraduate students at UQ, with the scholarship supporting up to 4 years of study.
