UQ Refugee and Humanitarian Scholarship

The UQ Refugee and Humanitarian Scholarship is funded by The University of Queensland (UQ). Established in 2021, this Scholarship offers students from refugee or asylum seeker backgrounds the opportunity to pursue higher education in any desired discipline at UQ. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support including a 100% tuition fee waiver plus an annual living stipend of $29,000 for the full duration of the approved program. This scholarship is designed to help students from refugee and humanitarian backgrounds overcome financial barriers to higher education and achieve their academic goals at one of Australia's leading universities.
