About this opportunity
The Urban Doers Community is a program within the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) partnership under Horizon Europe that aims to elevate local perspectives to influence European policy on sustainable urban development. The program brings together 12 local initiatives from across Europe over a 14-month period (May 2026 - June 2027). Participants receive financial support to strengthen their networks, increase visibility, and impact European policy. The initiative specifically targets grassroots organizations working with local urban development, including associations, civil society organizations, cultural organizations, and micro-enterprises with fewer than 10 employees. Importantly, participating organizations must not have previously been partners in EU-funded research and innovation projects. Swedish actors can apply for funding through Energimyndigheten, Formas, and Vinnova's contributions to the partnership.
