The grant is administered by Oslo Kommune and prioritizes children of craftspeople who hold a master's, trade, or journeyman's certificate. Recipients must have been residents of Oslo for the past three years. The grant amounts vary based on the applicant category and number of study hours per week, ranging from 7,500 to 20,000 Norwegian kroner. Applicants must be enrolled in educational programs with at least 17 study hours per week to be eligible. The grant is coordinated with other educational grants from Oslo Kommune, and applicants can only receive funds from one of these programs per calendar year.
