UTS Academic Merit International Scholarship – South Asia

The UTS Academic Merit International Scholarship – South Asia is designed to support commencing international students from South Asia who wish to undertake an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Sydney. The scholarship provides a 15% reduction of UTS tuition fees for the standard number of credit points required for the course. This scholarship is automatically awarded based on academic merit, requiring no separate application beyond the standard course admission process. For undergraduate admission, merit is assessed based on the qualification used for entry. For postgraduate admission, merit is evaluated based on the most recently completed recognized qualification or GMAT/GRE scores for UTS Business School programs. The scholarship is open to citizens of Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, or Sri Lanka who meet all admission requirements for their selected UTS program. Recipients must commence full-time, on-campus studies in Sydney and cannot hold other UTS scholarships or be government-sponsored students during the scholarship period. The scholarship applies to students commencing in 2025 and 2026 intakes.
