About this opportunity
This funding opportunity supports development projects and feasibility studies that develop sustainable smart energy systems in Jönköping, Kalmar, Kronoberg, and Gotland counties. The program focuses on strengthening the energy system in a sustainable and smart way, addressing the green transition for businesses and public sector organizations. Projects should contribute to increased flexibility in the energy system, enabling available energy in the grid to be used as efficiently as possible to match business energy and electricity usage. Projects can work with small-scale solutions and solutions that make it easier for energy users to reduce their electricity consumption or share energy when there is surplus. This may include identifying important places for electricity reduction, local storage or energy conversion where symbiosis can be created between different actors' energy use. The program also welcomes projects that want to make larger investments that enable the construction of environments/infrastructure, such as test beds for trying new solutions, structures that promote smart electricity use, or testing energy storage.
