About this opportunity

This grant program supports the development of authorized visitor centers for World Heritage sites in Norway. The funding aims to help centers communicate knowledge about World Heritage to local populations and visitors, particularly children and young people, and contribute to local value creation. Authorized visitor centers can apply for development grants for initiatives such as public programs, competence enhancement, exhibitions, and information activities. Development funds cannot be used for operations, planning, or construction of new buildings. Grants are awarded to applications that best fulfill the purpose of the scheme, and authorized visitor centers must meet authorization requirements at all times to be eligible for funding.
