UW Alumni @ Stantec Graduate Scholarship

One scholarship valued at $5,000 will be awarded annually to a full-time Canadian or Permanent Resident graduate student in the Departments of Chemical, Civil and Environmental, Mechanical and Mechatronics, or Electrical and Computer Engineering. The university will make every effort to match these awards through government programs. For instance, when matched with an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) the total value of each scholarship will be $15,000 annually. If this is not feasible, the scholarships will then be valued and awarded at $5,000 each. The scholarship selection will be made by the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Engineering. The award may be paid as the institutional matching funds for an OGS or Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science & Technology (QEII-GSST). The scholarship is available for both Masters and Doctoral level students in eligible engineering programs. Selection is automatic by the Faculty/Department, and the award is typically provided for the Fall term.
