UW Graduate Studies Fund Scholarship

A University of Waterloo Graduate Studies Fund has been established in Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA) to administer contributions received under the Senate Graduate Scholarships program and designated to graduate studies, to serve as a general account for funds donated for graduate studies without specific administrative requirements, and to create a graduate scholarship fund to honour the memory of people associated with the university, including alumni, faculty, friends, retirees, and staff. Awards will initially be made, as funds permit, under the terms of the Senate Graduate Scholarships, requiring students to have a B+ standing and normally be registered full-time. Recipients will be selected by the Manager, Financial Aid and Awards Programs, GSPA based on applications for financial needs based awards. Where applicants fit the eligibility criteria but there are not sufficient funds available, a University of Waterloo Graduate Studies Fund Scholarship may be awarded instead.
