About this opportunity
The UWM Foundation Target MD Scholarship is given to a high-achieving pre-medicine student to support their education and training in anticipation of attending medical school after college. This scholarship is specifically designed for declared pre-medicine students who maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and are in their junior or senior year. The scholarship supports students attending UWM full-time in their first bachelor's degree program, with awards typically made in spring each year for the following academic year. Students who have an up-to-date Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and the College of Letters & Science Scholarships and Awards Application will be automatically considered, with no additional or separate application required. The scholarship was established by Dr. Brian Bear '81 and Dr. Laurel Bear '81 to support the next generation of medical professionals.
