V for Life Grant Scheme

The V for Life grant scheme helps older vegans and vegetarians living in the UK who are in financial need to maintain their healthy lifestyle and be as independent as possible. The scheme is not for cash grants; rather, V for Life purchases goods and services on behalf of the applicant. Applications are accepted from UK organisations that work with older people, including health and social care practitioners, Care and Repair services, charities, faith-based groups, mutual aid groups, community larders, and Citizen's Advice teams. Please note that applications from individuals are no longer accepted. The grant scheme supports the purchase of items such as mobility scooters, kitchen appliances, laptops, flooring, and other equipment that helps maintain independence and quality of life. Deadlines for applications fall four times per year, and V for Life's Trustees aim to make decisions within 6 weeks of each deadline. The scheme is not suitable for emergency financial support.
