Vale Inco Undergraduate Scholarships in Engineering

The Vale Inco Undergraduate Scholarships in Engineering are annual scholarships offered to women in Canada pursuing studies in engineering. Three scholarships are awarded annually, each valued at $10,000. These scholarships come with a summer job opportunity with Vale Inco Limited at one of their facilities. Winners may also receive an expense-paid trip, supported by CEMF, Vale Inco Limited and Engineers Canada to attend the CEMF Awards Luncheon held as part of the Engineers Canada annual general meeting. The scholarships are open to young Canadian women entering or already enrolled in an accredited university engineering program to encourage them to pursue a career in engineering. Scholarships are awarded based primarily on demonstrated community leadership and involvement in extra-curricular activities, with a special emphasis on leadership.
