Van Tran Memorial Award

The Van Tran Memorial Award is a scholarship awarded to students who identify as a member of a Visible Minority with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and indicated financial need. Preference is given to students who are members of the Vietnamese Students' Association. This award was established through endowed funds in memory of Van Tran, by family, friends and supporters of the Children of Vietnam Benevolent Foundation.
