The scholarship is valued at $1,500 and is awarded to continuing students at Federation University's Ballarat or Wimmera locations. Vanne's father attended the Ballarat School of Mines, maintaining a historical connection to the institution, making this scholarship a fitting tribute to his commitment to education and support for refugees.
