Veiledningstilskudd for kandidater med særskilte behov og svake norskferdigheter

Nordland fylkeskommune offers a guidance subsidy for companies with apprentices, apprentice candidates, or practice certificate candidates who have special needs or weak Norwegian language skills. The subsidy is designed to stimulate training companies to specially adapt the apprenticeship period for candidates with documented needs and to encourage more contracts with minority language speakers with weak Norwegian skills. The target group is twofold: candidates under 25 who cannot get satisfactory benefit from the ordinary training offer, and candidates with insufficient Norwegian skills to follow ordinary training in the apprenticeship. Companies can receive subsidies for extra personnel resources up to 6 hours per week for 47 weeks per year, with a subsidy rate of NOK 400 per hour. Applications must be submitted as soon as the need arises, and subsidies are granted for one year at a time.
