Vekstfinansiering 2

Vekstfinansiering 2 is a grant program offered by Innovation Norway for smaller enterprises in agriculture-based industries. The program targets businesses within local food and beverages, local food experiences, tourism experiences, Inn på Tunet (Farm-based care services), inland fisheries, and reindeer husbandry. The funding supports growth initiatives for businesses in these secondary agriculture-based sectors. The program provides financial support up to 2 million Norwegian kroner to help businesses develop and expand their operations. Recipients must demonstrate adherence to responsible business principles and maintain awareness of their own sustainability risks. The funding is provided as a grant (tilskudd) under state aid regulations and must comply with the Group Exemption Regulation (GBER). Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, allowing businesses to apply at any time throughout the year. The program requires disclosure of any other public support received or applied for, as Innovation Norway's support calculation considers the total public funding needed to enable the project. The organization evaluates applications based on project costs and ensures compliance with European state aid rules through notification to ESA (EFTA Surveillance Authority).
