Venetian Research Program - British & Commonwealth

The Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation's Venetian Research Program for British & Commonwealth scholars supports advanced research on Venice and the former Venetian empire. The program provides grants to citizens or permanent residents of the British Isles or Commonwealth, as well as research students or affiliated members of universities within these areas. Grants are primarily intended for travel and accommodation to conduct research in Venetian materials held in libraries, archives, museums, or galleries. The program is designed for experienced researchers at the graduate level or equivalent who have fulfilled all doctoral requirements except completion of the dissertation, or experienced curatorial or conservation staff of galleries and museums. Awards are made to individuals only, not institutions, and recipients have one year to complete their travel and research.
