Vera Murray Memorial Nursing Award

The Vera Murray Memorial Nursing Award is granted to a graduating student from the four year Nursing Program or the Accelerated Nursing Program at the University of Prince Edward Island who demonstrated a commitment, dedication and perseverance in their nursing studies. Preference is given to a student that has one or more dependents. Academic achievement is not the defining criterion for this award; instead, faculty members recommend recipients based on their demonstrated commitment to the nursing profession. The award recognizes students who exemplify dedication and perseverance throughout their studies, particularly those balancing academic responsibilities with family obligations.
