Vera Zilber Graduate Student Award in Kinesiology

The Vera Zilber Graduate Student Award in Kinesiology is awarded to select incoming PhD students with an intended major in Kinesiology at the Joseph J. Zilber College of Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Students are considered based on their admission data, which can include letters of recommendation, reasons statement, date of admission, GPA, and other academic credentials. This award supports doctoral students pursuing research and study in kinesiology. The award is not renewable, and recipients must maintain good academic standing throughout the award period. Additionally, students must be enrolled full-time, which is defined as 8 or more credits for pre-dissertator students or 3 or more credits for dissertator students. The award is funded by the Joseph & Vera Zilber Family Foundation to support graduate education in public health disciplines at UW-Milwaukee.
