Verna Mae McNeill Scholarship for Business Students

The Verna Mae McNeill Scholarship for Business Students supports students at Tarrant County College who intend to pursue a career in the field of business. This merit-based scholarship is designed to assist students who are currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College, with a preference given to applicants who are single heads of household with dependent children. The scholarship requires a minimum TCC GPA of 2.75 (3.0 desirable) or equivalent high school/GED credentials for first-time students. Recipients must enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours during the award period. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if recipients achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 in business curriculum and complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall. Financial need determination is not required for this scholarship, as it is awarded based on merit.
