About This Opportunity

The Vetora Work Experience Grant has been established by the Te Awamutu Veterinary Association (trading as Vetora Waikato and Tokoroa and Districts Veterinary Services) to financially assist veterinary students to cover transport and living costs while seeing practice. The grant supports third-year Bachelor of Veterinary Science students at Massey University who are interested in farm or mixed animal practice. Recipients must be willing to undertake a two-week seeing practice placement in the central North Island region. Vetora has been providing services to farmer members and local communities for over 75 years, operating eight clinics throughout the central North Island from Hamilton to Taupo. Four awards of NZD $1,500 each are available annually to support students gaining practical veterinary experience in rural and mixed animal practice settings.
