VFW Post 10822 Scholarship

The VFW Post 10822 Scholarship provides annual scholarship funding to Perimeter College students at Georgia State University who are military veterans or currently serving. This scholarship is specifically designed to support veterans who were honorably discharged from the military, or those currently serving on active duty in the National Guard or Reserves. The funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours (either full-time or part-time). The application requires submission of DD-214 form or verification of current military status, a letter of recommendation from Perimeter College staff/faculty or a non-related professional, and an essay describing why the applicant joined the military (maximum 500 words).
