VH Hunter Memorial Award in Geology

The VH Hunter Memorial Award in Geology is awarded annually to a student entering either the third or fourth year of Geology at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes students based on academic achievement, qualities of scholarship, leadership, career goals, and demonstrated interest and previous experience in the field of Geology. This endowed award was established by Mr. Donald Hunter in memory of his father, the late VH Hunter, to support promising geology students as they progress through their undergraduate studies.
