VH Hunter Memorial Award in Mining, Materials, and Petroleum Engineering

The VH Hunter Memorial Award in Mining, Materials, and Petroleum Engineering is awarded annually to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering either the third or fourth year of Mining, Materials or Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, qualities of scholarship, leadership, career goals, demonstrated interest and previous experience in the field of Mining, Materials or Petroleum Engineering. This endowed award was established by Mr. Donald Hunter in memory of his father, the late VH Hunter, to support and recognize outstanding students pursuing careers in these important engineering disciplines.
