About this opportunity
The University of the Sunshine Coast Vice-Chancellor's Academic Excellence Scholarship is intended to recognise, reward and encourage academic excellence among high achieving students commencing their first undergraduate degree. The scholarship is paid in instalments of A$1,500 per study period for the normal duration of the program. This merit-based scholarship recognizes students who have achieved an ATAR of 95 or equivalent and have graduated from year 12 within 2 years prior to commencing studies at UniSC. Up to 40 scholarships are available each year for students commencing full-time in their first undergraduate program at UniSC. Selection is based on high academic achievement, leadership skills demonstrated through academic, extra-curricular or community activities, and financial need. Recipients must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens, or permanent Australian humanitarian visa holders who have placed UniSC as their first or second preference on their QTAC application.
