Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship 2026

The Swinburne Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarship is a prestigious award designed to recognize and support outstanding academic achievement for students commencing any Swinburne on-campus degree. The scholarship provides $5,000 per annum for the normal duration of the chosen degree, plus a one-off payment of $2,000 towards an international study experience. Recipients are also invited to apply for Swinburne's Student Ambassador Program, representing the university at key events. Students living more than 80km from the Hawthorn campus who apply for accommodation by the required deadline are guaranteed a place in Swinburne Residences for Semester 1, though accommodation costs are not covered by the scholarship. This scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible students who achieve an ATAR of 95 or higher and preference a Swinburne degree, with no separate application required.
