Vice Chancellor's International Excellence Scholarship

The Vice Chancellor's International Excellence Scholarship is designed to support talented international students who are enrolling for the first time into undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes at the University of Waikato. This scholarship recognizes and rewards students who demonstrate excellent academic achievement. The scholarship provides financial support of up to NZD$15,000 towards tuition fees. Applications are reviewed monthly with specific deadlines for different trimester intakes. The scholarship is available across all subject areas including Arts, Business & Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Education, Health, Engineering, Law, Māori & Indigenous Studies, Science, and Social Sciences.
