About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in chemistry at the University of Sydney. The scholarship was established by a gift from Melba Alma Cromack and supports full-time doctoral research within the School of Chemistry. The successful candidate will be awarded the scholarship on the basis of academic merit, previous research experience, and area of study/research proposal. Recipients must hold an honours degree (first class) in chemistry or equivalent or a master's degree with a substantial research component. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
