Victor Truesdale Award and President Prize 2025-26

The Victor Truesdale Award and President Prize are two separate awards for final year students from Ireland studying at Harper Adams University. The Victor Truesdale Award recognizes exceptional Irish students who demonstrate leadership, team-building and effective communication skills, making an outstanding contribution to the corporate life of the student community. The recipient receives an inscribed piece of Irish crystal together with a financial award, typically presented at the annual Harper Ireland Club dinner. The President's Prize is awarded for outstanding contribution to Harper Ireland or the wider student community during their time at Harper Adams, specifically targeting 'unsung Irish heroes' who have not otherwise received recognition for their contributions. Applicants must have a family home in either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. Both awards require submission of a consent form, letter of application (no more than 2 pages) linked to award criteria, and a CV (no more than 2 pages). Applications closed 12 December 2025 with interviews scheduled for 22 January 2026.
