Victoria Convalescent Trust Grants

The Victoria Convalescent Trust provides grants to fund or part-fund short breaks for individuals of any age living in England and Wales who are experiencing disability, poor health, or serving as carers. The trust also provides grants for essential household items or essential equipment. Applications must be submitted by professionally qualified health or social care workers who are actively involved with the intended recipient. Priority is given to first-time applicants, and the trust can only consider one grant application per individual or family within a twelve-month period. Depending on available funds and demand, consecutive year grants may be considered, but no more than two consecutive grants will be made to the same individual or family. The grants are designed to support vulnerable individuals and families in need of respite and recovery through short breaks in accommodation available on the open market.
