About this opportunity
The Victory Scholarship is a scholarship opportunity for students at Tarrant County College who are first-generation college students. The scholarship supports students pursuing an associate degree or certificate of completion at TCC. Recipients must demonstrate financial need according to federal or state guidelines and commit to volunteering eight hours with a faith-based organization each semester. The scholarship gives preference to single heads of household with dependent children. Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75 and enroll in at least 9 credit hours per semester (or full-time enrollment as defined by their program). The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the student meets academic requirements, completes the required credit hours in fall, and submits signed verification of volunteer service to the Foundation Office.
