Vienna Opera Ball Society Scholarship

The Vienna Opera Ball Society Scholarship is awarded in even-numbered years to support talented vocal performance students at the University of Alberta. This scholarship recognizes students with superior academic achievement who are entering the second, third, or fourth year of the Bachelor of Music program with voice as their major performance area. Recipients are selected based on both academic standing and outstanding vocal talent as assessed by the voice faculty. To be eligible, students must have completed a minimum of 24 credits over the most recent September to April period (30 credits total) in the previous year. The scholarship is funded through an endowment established by the Vienna Opera Ball Society and is administered through the Faculty of Arts.
